Fort King George Heritage Park

Alpha has engaged in several refurbishments, renovation and construction projects that, including the following: Fort King George Heritage Park, Scarborough, Tobago – Restoration of the Infrastructure Phase 2B and Phase 2C consisting of:
  • Powder Magazine
  • Bell Tank
  • Barrack Cell
  • Barrack 2 and
  • Officers Quarters.

Other work included the completion of two existing buildings, namely:
  • Fine Arts Centre - Barrack #26
  • The Tourism Office / Craft Market.

Work on this project included, demolition of existing roof, reconstruction of the original hipped structures with shingle roof coverings, the general restoration of the external envelope walls, windows and doors and the interior walls and ceiling where applicable, with a totaling gross floor area of approximately 25,000 sq. ft. These buildings were rehabilitated to their appearance as it was in 1847. Alpha has been carrying out renovation and refurbishment works for the Fort King George Heritage Park in Tobago since 2002 to this present date.
